Church Pastor’s Welcome Message.

You are warmly welcome to Bantama Seventh-Day Adventist church website. As part of God’s remnant church in this world, we are equally poised at maintaining our focus on Christ and His Second Coming. Even the whole world knows that our profession of keeping the commandment of God and hold the testimony of Jesus Christ throws us into the colosseum of truth leaving us increasingly vulnerable in this cosmic controversy. Surely, in this volatile spiritual contest that we have been called, torturing and tutoring it is yet there is still hope. Christ has promised that “all powers have been given to him”(Matt. 28:18,20) and also He is with us always until the end of time. This assurance is the spur we possess to enable us endure to the end, for our salvation (Matt. 24:13)

Indisputably, every serious-minded member of the remnant church of God goes through a lot of challenges. Sometimes, they are so overburdened that people of God are driven down to ask “why does the righteous suffer?” Unfortunately, some even pass out yielding; others stand up even without answers to the question.

Friends, as the Lord’s Second Coming still tarries, 1 Peter 5:8,9 still warns us against the Devil’s snares, so there is the need to be sober and temperate for the Devil has not relented in his pursuit to get us destroyed. He did the same to the earlier saints; the scripture prompts us to resist him in our firm faith as we press on, knowing that this cosmic battle ends at the resurrection morning-Acts 14:22 also encourages us to endure to the end, for through many tribulations, shall we appear into the kingdom of God.

How could one endure in this world of meaninglessness? Friends, remember that;

  1. By acknowledging Christ as Lord of the remnant church
  2. By focusing on the risen Saviour, obeying his commandments and to live as he lived.
  3. As disciples following the master wherever he goes and maintain our relationship with Him.
  4. Finally, leaving anything that hinders us from being disciples whilst we make disciples ourselves.

I guess, with the above points under our sleeves, the remnants would always be revived and reformed to stand by the truth, hold the commandments of God and dare to be like Daniel.

Friends this message of encouragement is to help us press on while we still wait for “the blessed Hope”. I do not know the challenges and adversities that you are wadding through yet there is still hope. The spirit of prophecy encourages us that:
‘At all times and in all places, in all sorrows and in all afflictions, when the outlook seems dark and the future perplexing, and we feel helpless and alone, the Comforter will be sent in answer to the prayer of faith. Though circumstances may separate us from earthly friends, but no circumstance, no distance can separate us from the heavenly Comforter. Wherever we are, wherever we may go, He is always at our right hand to support, sustain, uphold and cheer us’. Desire of Ages pp. 669-670

Friends let these words of hope guide us as we get closer to probation, and in no time see His glorious face. On that note, l once again welcome you to this site.
