Mrs. Beatrice Kusi

“My sisters, as mothers we are responsible in a great degree for the physical, mental, and moral health of our children. We can do much by teaching them correct habits of living. We can show them, by our example, that we make a great account of health, and that they should not violate its laws. We should not make it a practice to place upon our tables’ food which would injure the health of our children. ….. We should teach our children to practice habits of self-denial that the great battle of life is with self, to restrain the passions, and bring them into subjection to the mental and moral faculties. {An Appeal to Mothers p. 19}

Bantama Seventh-day Adventist Women’s Ministry Department was established primarily to uphold, encourage and challenge Seventh-day Adventist women in their daily walk as disciples of Jesus Christ and as members of His world church.

In this world of religious/spiritual, political and cultural turbulence and instability in most of our homes, the world is looking for women who are spirit filled and dedicated and are able to restore calmness, peace and stability in our homes.

It is in the light of this, that our Women Ministries department has taken on the mantle and is seeking to address the issues affecting women in order to bring sanity and happiness to our families/homes.

Our Mission

Our Mission is uplifting Christ in the church and in the world.

Our Objectives

The Women’s Ministry seeks to:

  • Foster spiritual growth and renewal among women.
  • Mentor and encourage Seventh-day Adventist women and young ladies.
  • Build goodwill among women in the church that encourages bond of friendship, mutual support and creative exchange of ideas and information.
  • Find ways and means to challenge each Seventh-day Adventist woman to use her gifts to complement the talents of others for global mission of the church
